29th Annual Bard Music Festival

The 29th annual Bard Music Festival will focus on the life, work, and cultural milieu of prominent 19th-century Russian composer, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.


The Bard Spiegeltent ascends to new heights of glamor and sophistication when legendary cabaret artist and Tony-nominated performer Mx. Justin Vivian Bond takes over as host, emcee, and guest curator.

Live Arts Bard

Live Arts Bard (LAB) is a laboratory where professional artists in theater, dance, and performance test ideas and develop new projects. Each year, LAB invites leading artists and companies to Bard’s campus to develop and present new and recent works.

Every fall, the Fisher Center presents a new season of extraordinary music, dance, and theater performances. Join us often from September through December to see and hear new, rediscovered, and reimagined works by guest artists, as well as Bard students and faculty.

Affiliated Programs

The Orchestra Now

The Orchestra Now (TŌN), a unique training orchestra and master’s degree program founded by Bard in 2015, is preparing a new generation of musicians to break down barriers between modern audiences and great orchestral music of the past and present.

Conservatory Sundays

Join us on Sunday afternoons for a series of concerts performed by students of The Bard College Conservatory of Music, with faculty and special guests. All ticket sales benefit the Conservatory’s Scholarship Fund.

Hudson Valley Chamber Music Circle

Hudson Valley Chamber Music Circle (HVCMC), founded in 1950, is one of the oldest chamber music organizations in the region. It became affiliated with the Bard Center as an independent program in 1970.

Jazz at Lincoln Center

A residential high school summer institute for advanced study in jazz performance at Bard College.
