American Symphony Orchestra

The American Symphony Orchestra is a New York-based American orchestra founded in 1962 by Leopold Stokowski whose mission is to demystify orchestral music and make it accessible and affordable for all audiences.

26th Annual Bard Music Festival

In its 26th season, the Bard Music Festival turns, for the first time, to Latin America. The focal point is Carlos Chávez (1899–1978), the central figure in Mexican music of the 20th century.

Bard SummerScape

"Bard SummerScape and Bard Music Festival always unearth piles of buried treasure." —The New Yorker. Bard SummerScape presents seven inspired weeks of opera, music, theater, dance, film, and cabaret.


The Bard Spiegeltent ascends to new heights of glamor and sophistication when legendary cabaret artist and Tony-nominated performer Justin Vivian Bond takes over as host, emcee, and guest curator.

Live Arts Bard

Live Arts Bard (LAB) is a laboratory where professional artists in theater, dance, and performance test ideas and develop new projects. Each year, LAB invites leading artists and companies to Bard’s campus to develop and present new and recent works.

Conservatory Sundays

Join us on Sunday afternoons for a series of concerts performed by students of The Bard College Conservatory of Music, with faculty and special guests. All ticket sales benefit the Conservatory’s Scholarship Fund.

Every spring, the Fisher Center offers musical concerts, dance performances, theatrical events,performance artists, and more. Join us  to see and hear new, rediscovered, and reimagined works from special guests and Bard students and faculty.
