2019 Bard Music Festival Preview at Wethersfield

Join us at Wethersfield to kick-off another summer of outstanding performances in music, dance, opera, and theater at Bard, with its inspiration coming from the work of Austrian composer Erich Wolfgang Korngold. A child prodigy whose compositional achievements were compared to that of Mendelssohn and Mozart, Korngold went on to become the last great exponent of the musical vocabulary of late Romanticism and the founding father of movie music as we know it.
