Ann Carlson is a choreographer and performance artist best known for her singular blend of movement, voice, sound, and visual elements. She has received numerous awards for her work, including a three-year choreographic fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Choreographer’s Award, and a New York Dance and Performance Award (a “Bessie”). In 2003, she received both a Guggenheim Fellowship and a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in performance and choreography.
The event is part of NIGHTSCAPE, the popular late-night series continues with performances every Saturday, featuring a cabaret of informal entertainment where audiences can share a drink with performers.
