The Fisher Center at Bard creates exceptional performing arts experiences that challenge and inspire.

For over 20 years, the Center has been a powerful catalyst of innovative art-making, known locally in New York’s Hudson Valley as an “anchor” institution and in the U.S. as a leading multidisciplinary arts center.

We nurture and support artists at all stages of their careers; produce 8–10 major works across disciplines; and employ more than 300+ professional artists annually. As a component of Bard College, we believe the performing arts are a societal and educational necessity that foster connection, creativity, and community, and enrich public life and discourse.
