Steve's taste in 80s music veers to the New Wave–influenced and New Romantic and more danceable tunes, but, he says, "I've been known to include rockier stuff on occasion. I'm a lover of the entire era, from NYC club music like 'Set It Off' by Strafe, to New Order, Berlin, Haircut 100, Michael Jackson, Imagination, Missing Persons, Bowie, Faithful, Shannon, and on (and on). I'm not huge on Rush and Journey, but I'll probably have some with me to play if requested. I'm all for a good hair-band power ballad now and then . . .  "
