Bradford Reed and His Amazing Pencilina (opening act)
A one-man orchestra of sound, Brooklyn-based composer and performer Bradford Reed (Bard ’93) plucks, bows, and uses sticks to play the Pencilina, an original instrument of his own design and construction. The Pencilina is an electric 10-stringed collision of a hammer dulcimer, slide guitar, koto, and fretless bass with six pick-ups of varied types. See more at pencilina.com.
plus a very special number by
Lady Esther Gin
Lady Esther Gin is a glittering gender illusionist who stands at least 7’4" — sometimes taller, depending on the hair-heel combo. She is the self-proclaimed Queen of the Catskills; Hudson Valley locals may have spotted her performing as a go-go dancer with her friends the B-52s.
