The orchestra’s second concert of the 2010–11 season features Beethoven’s bold, boisterous Seventh Symphony and Wellington’s Victory, the source of inspiration for Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. The evening’s program also includes the tone poem Luonnotar by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, whose work, life, and world will be explored at the 22nd Bard Music Festival in August 2011.
