Bard College Chamber Singers and Symphonic Chorus Spring Concert and Graduate Choral Conductors Degree Recital

The Bard College Chamber Singers and Symphonic Chorus will be singing a wide selection of works, from the Renaissance to the 21st century—in several different languages!

The choruses will be conducted by James Bagwell, codirector of the Bard Graduate Conducting Program, Michelle Asher ’15; Anastasia Serdsev ’15; Benedict Sheehan ’16; and Christopher Puckett ’16.

The program includes Six Chansons, Paul Hindemith; “Herr, nun lässest de deinen Diener in Frieden (Nunc dimittis),” Felix Mendelssohn; Ave Verum Corpus, W.A. Mozart; “Erlaube mir & Wach auf!” from 26 Deutsche Volklieder, Johannes Brahms; Four Slovak Folk Songs, Béla Bartók; “The Spring Time of the Year” from Five English Folk Songs, Ralph Vaughan Williams; and “Laudate Pueri” from Vesperae solennes de Confessore, W.A. Mozart.
