“Contemporary Music from Bard.” World premiere of Harold Farberman’s Early Hudson Valley Scenes, with pianists Melvin Chen and Todd Crow and percussionists Jonathan Haas and David Fein; world premiere Joan Tower’s Incandescent performed by The Emerson String Quartet; performance of Kyle Gann’s Hovenweep by the Da Capo Chamber Players; excerpts from Richard Teitelbaum’s Z’vi with Sephardic, Jewish, and Middle Eastern performers, with electronics; and Thurman Barker’s Time Factor, Quality Time, and Obsession, performed by the Thurman Barker Quintet and special guests.
