The 2006 SummerScape season opens with two very special dance premieres by choreographer Donna Uchizono: a Fisher Center-commissioned work for grand piano and a quartet of dancers that induces audiences to listen anew to Liszt, and a new work (featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov, Hristoula Harkakas, and Jodi Melnick) that draws on newly comissioned music by Michael Floyd.
