One of today's most extraordinary vocal talents, Jazzmeia Horn launches the Catskill Jazz Factory summer series at the Spiegeltent with a premiere, unveiling a suite of new songs that span from black spirituals to today's contemporary jazz, effortlessly fusing live music with dance in an uplifting and exciting multimovement work. 

The winner of the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition in 2015, the 23-year-old Horn has already earned a reputation as a dynamic musician with a soulful, passionate sound often compared to classical vocalists like Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan, and Nancy Wilson. A fearless singer with an unerring sense of swing, an acrobatic vocal range and technique, and an intensely innovative and risk-taking approach to improvising, Horn has marked her place as one of today's most unique and thrilling vocal talents.
