The Ballad of Rom and Julz borrows loosely from Romeo and Juliet to tell a story of transgressive love. When Julz, the reigning princess of Padua Academy, falls hard for Rom, a transitioning F-to-M, boundaries between male and female, public and private, and love and hate erode.
