Woodstock Tango Presents a Night of Argentine Tango: Live Music for Dancing, Intro to Tango Class, Special Dance Performance!

Learn how they really tango in Buenos Aires, birthplace of the most sensual of dances! An amazing evening of authentic Tango Argentino, with live music for social dancing by one of the top tango orquestas in the USA, The Octavio Brunetti Quartet, featuring JP Jofre, bandoneón; Pedro Giraudo, bass; Machiko Ozawa, violin; and Octavio Brunetti, piano/conductor, complemented by recorded music from the golden age of tango with DJ La Rubia del Norte, who has spun the tunes at the most famous milongas (social clubs) in Buenos Aires.

The evening includes a dazzling tango demonstration by internationally renowned performers Junior Cervila ("the Gene Kelly of Latin Dance") and Natalia Royo from Buenos Aires. An introduction to tango class will be taught by Woodstock Tango’s Ilene Marder; no partner or experience necessary.

For the past two years, tango night has been an enormous hit at the Spiegeltent, packing the house with dancers and tango aficionados of all levels. Advance tickets strongly suggested!

Dance lessons start at 7:45 pm, and band starts at 8:30 pm.
