Waiting for Godot, performed by the Gate Theatre of Dublin, directed by Walter D. Asmus, who worked with Samuel Beckett on many occasions for the stage and television. Scenic design by the octogenarian Louis le Brocquy, who is widely considered Ireland’s most distinguished living visual artist. The cast reunites the core of the Gate’s 1991 Dublin company, including Barry McGovern (Vladimir), Johnny Murphy (Estragon), Alan Stanford (Pozzo), and Stephen Brennan (Lucky).
Performances: Saturday, October 7 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, October 8 at 3:00 p.m.
