Gautier, a beautiful, self-possessed prostitute who knows that money is everything. Marguerite’s tale is a reflection of myth and reality. The play Camille is based on a novel by Alexandre Dumas fils entitled La Dame aux camélias, which in turn was inspired by a real-life woman named Marie Duplessis. Adapted by Neil Bartlett and Directed by Kate Whoriskey.
