The 2006 SummerScape season opened with two dance premieres by choreographer Donna Uchizono: Moving Liszt, a Fisher Center-commissioned work for grand piano and a quartet of dancers that induces audiences to listen anew to Liszt, and Leap to Tall, a new work (featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov, Hristoula Harkakas, and Jodi Melnick) that draws on newly comissioned music by Michael Floyd.
