Availability
Tickets to events at the Fisher Center are available solely through our website and box office. Tickets for especially popular events may sell out quickly and so we recommend that you become an e-subscriber to be kept updated regarding sale announcements and ticket availability. Additional tickets may be available before the event, and we encourage you to check back on new availability frequently.
There are no authorized wholesalers for tickets to Fisher Center events. We do not endorse third-party sites and cannot guarantee or verify the validity of any tickets before purchase. We will not honor tickets for entry into our venues if attempted with an illegitimate ticket or obtained under fraudulent circumstances, even if money has been exchanged between you and a non-endorsed sales channel. The Fisher Center is not financially responsible for any monetary loss you incur.
The Fisher Center is a program of Bard College, a non-profit educational organization, that relies on the financial support of generous donors and ticket sales. Although we strongly discourage third-party sales, it is legal in New York, within the law’s limits: Ticket resellers must be licensed and bonded by the state. Regardless of licensure, one cannot resell tickets within 1500 feet of the venue. Regardless of licensure, one must issue a refund if the purchaser cannot go to the event through no fault of their own.
Order Confirmation and Processing
Your order is confirmed when we send you a confirmation in the form of a confirmation page or emailed receipt (“Order Confirmation”) when purchased through our website and by phone.
If you do not receive an Order Confirmation after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm via your account whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.

Canceled, Postponed, Rescheduled, and Moved Events
Occasionally, events are canceled, postponed, or rescheduled to a different date or materially different time, or moved to another venue.
- If a paid event is canceled and there is no possibility of attending another performance date during the run of a production or an already announced performance by an artist, no action is required to obtain a refund by the owner of the tickets; we will issue a refund to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase. If the original payment method is not available, the Box Office will reach out to the individual parties.
- If a paid event is canceled and there is the possibility of attending another performance date during the run of a production or an already announced performance by an artist, the Box Office will reach out to the individual parties to inform them of the alternate dates. If these dates are not possible for a party to attend, a refund to house credit will be issued. In some cases, we may issue refunds with management approval upon request.
- If a paid event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, we will send you a notification explaining your options, including but not limited to placing the paid balance for the tickets on your account as house credit for the future, moving your tickets to the new performance date or time, or requesting a refund.
- Free events, or complimentary tickets to our events, are not guaranteed to be rescheduled and are not subject to any monetary compensation should the event be canceled. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us via email or phone.
If your paid event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved, we will attempt to contact you to update you on the event’s status and inform you of any return, refund, or exchange procedures. Contact may come by email, phone call, or voicemail. For exact instructions on any canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved event, please check your email, which will include the most current information on the event’s status, or contact us via phone.
We will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved event.
Returns, Credits and Exchanges
All ticket sales are final. However, we understand that personal schedules sometimes change, and emergencies arise. In these instances, we have the following options available to assist you. If you are unable to attend a performance, you can:
- Exchange your tickets for another performance.
- Donate the cost of your tickets to the Fisher Center as a contribution.
- Return your tickets for house credit to put towards a future performance at the Fisher Center. House credit expires annually on June 15.
Tickets purchased for certain special events will not be returnable after 7 business days prior to the date of the event. Contact the Box Office for more information.
TICKET EXCHANGE
You may request a Ticket Exchange if you cannot attend a scheduled performance or event.
To request a Ticket Exchange:
- Requests can be made any time before the scheduled performance or event and cannot be arranged afterward.
- Call the Box Office at 845-758-7900, visit Box Office during regular business hours, or email us at boxoffice@bard.edu, and we would be happy to assist you.
- Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production only.
- Exchanged tickets are subject to new ticket availability and may include a price increase based on the date of the new performance, seat location, or date of exchange. Additional restrictions may also apply.
- If an exchange is not possible, you may request house credit.
DONATE TICKET COST
If you cannot attend a scheduled performance or event, you can donate the cost of your ticket to the Fisher Center. Your ticket will be released into the ticket system, and the ticket’s face value will be donated to the Fisher Center.
To request a Ticket Return and Donation:
- Requests can be made any time before the scheduled performance or event and cannot be arranged afterward.
- Call the Box Office at 845-758-7900, visit Box Office during regular business hours, or email us at boxoffice@bard.edu, and we would be happy to assist you.
- An email confirmation will be sent confirming the ticket return and donation to the Fisher Center.
In some cases where the Fisher Center is presenting an event on behalf of a performing artist or another producing entity, tickets cannot be returned and donated as a tax-deductible contribution. However, you can still request the ticket be returned without a refund so that another person can access the ticket in support of the artist performing. This option is not eligible for any form of tax deduction.
HOUSE CREDIT
If you are no longer able to attend your scheduled performance or event, you may request that your Fisher Center account be credited for the cost of your ticket.
Requests can be made in several ways, and once completed, the cost of your ticket and applicable service fees will be placed as a credit on your account. You may use house credit funds to purchase tickets and gift certificates and make donations to the Fisher Center. House credit funds cannot be used to buy food, drinks, or goods at any of our venues.
To request house credit:
- Requests can be made any time before the scheduled performance or event and cannot be arranged afterward.
- Call the Box Office at 845-758-7900, visit the Box Office during regular business hours, or email us at boxoffice@bard.edu, and we would be happy to assist you.
- If approved, the face value of the ticket, and applicable service fees, are placed as a credit on your Fisher Center account for future use.
- House credit funds expire annually on June 15 of each calendar year. Any funds remaining on June 15 of each year will automatically be transferred to the Fisher Center as a tax-deductible donation. We encourage you to use any house credit funds before this expiration date.
- Example 1: House credit funds that were added to your account on February 10 would expire on June 15 of the same year.
- Example 2: House Credit funds that were added to your account on August 1 would expire on June 15 of the following year.
Delivery Options
All tickets to Fisher Center events are available at Will-Call for pickup at the respective performance venue one hour prior to the performance or any pre-performance event. Tickets can be mailed upon request. The Fisher Center does not offer digital tickets at this time.
Account, Order, and Billing Information Verification
All information on accounts and orders must be valid and are subject to verification. Orders are subject to credit card approval and are processed only after verifying the billing address associated with your credit card and other billing information. Orders that are placed, or attempted to be placed, using an account with any information that is found to be false, misleading, incorrect, or incomplete, or that cannot be verified as belonging to the account holder—such as name, address, email address, phone number, IP address, or other account or billing information—are subject to cancellation, at any time. Furthermore, if your order is canceled for any reason, we may sell your tickets to another customer without further notice.
Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether it is inaccurate because of an error in a price posted on the Fisher Center’s website or otherwise communicated to you), if you can order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date, or if you can order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then we will have the right to cancel that ticket and refund to you the amount that you paid. We will not be liable for travel or any other expenses you, or anyone else, incur in connection with errors of this nature.
If a refund is processed in error or exceeds the original amount paid, we reserve the right to recharge the original method of payment used at the time of purchase.
Multiple Browser Windows
When ordering tickets online with us, please ensure you are looking for tickets and placing an order using only one browser window (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.). Looking up tickets using multiple browser windows could result in losing your tickets, errors occurring during the purchase process, or timer expiration.
License; Ejection and Cancelation; No Redemption Value
You agree to comply with all of the Fisher Center’s applicable rules, policies, terms, and conditions. The Fisher Center at Bard reserves the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with the Fisher Center Community Commitment. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without a refund. A ticket constitutes a revocable license, and the management reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke a ticket at any time, for any reason. Seat locations are only guaranteed until the scheduled curtain, and latecomers will be seated at the discretion of theater management. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
Recording, Transmission, and Exhibition
You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy regarding your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to us, the Fisher Center at Bard, our partners, licensees, and assigns, including but not limited to our brand and media partners, to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmissions, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after a performance) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
In the case of virtual or digital events, you may view Fisher Center virtual events solely for your own personal purpose. You may not record, copy, publicly exhibit, transmit, or distribute any virtual event through any means, resell views of any virtual event, or allow others to log into your account for the purpose of watching a virtual event.
You are Subject to Search
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. You may be denied access to the event without a refund or other compensation if you do not consent to such searches. Under specific facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including, without limitation: firearms, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritants (e.g., artificial noisemakers), bundles, and containers.
Unlawful Resale of Tickets; Promotions
Official tickets for Fisher Center events are available only by purchasing through our website, calling the Box Office at 845-758-7900, or visiting in person during our operating hours. Please be wary of other sites claiming to sell tickets to our events. We do not endorse third-party sites and cannot guarantee or verify the validity of any tickets purchased in this way if entry into our venues is attempted with an illegitimate ticket or obtained under fraudulent circumstances. In that case, we will not honor it even if you exchanged money between you and a non-endorsed sales channel. The Fisher Center is not financially responsible for any monetary loss you incur.
Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of tickets, including but not limited to counterfeit or copies of tickets, is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. In addition, we reserve the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing or free ticket privileges to anyone we determine to be or to have been violating our policies. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes unless the Fisher Center gives formal written authorization.
