Frank Martin: Six Monologues from Jedermann
Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 9
The “relentlessly innovative” (New York Times) Leon Botstein leads The Orchestra Now in Beethoven’s transcendent and powerful Symphony No. 9, one of the most famous works in all of classical music. Also on the program: Frank Martin’s eerie and emotionally charged Six Monlogues from Jedermann, performed by baritone Nathaniel Sullivan, one of the winners of the Bard College Conservatory 2016 Concerto Competition.
The concert will run approximately 2 hours including one 20-minute intermission.
