The Fisher Center celebrates the centenary of Samuel Beckett’s birth with a generous selection of the author’s plays, monologues, dramatic readings, and films, performed and staged by world-renowned actors and directors. The Gate Theatre of Dublin, considered among the most authoritative advocates for Beckett’s dramatic work, performs their highly regarded production of Waiting for Godot. Gare St. Lazare Players Ireland presents a series of dramatic readings of Beckett’s prose and monologues. And don’t miss Beckett on Filmall 19 stage plays performed by actors such as John Gielgud, Jeremy Irons, and Julianne Moore and directed by, among others, David Mamet, Anthony Minghella, and Damien Hirst.
