Singer and songwriter Eszter Balint’s two albums, Flicker and Mud, have been praised by critics (New Yorker, Billboard), and she has appeared on recordings with Michael Gira, Marc Ribot, and John Lurie, among others. Balint is also an actress; she had a starring role in the seminal indie hit Stranger Than Paradise, directed by Jim Jarmusch, and was featured in Trees Lounge, directed by Steve Buscemi.
