Launched in 2020, Upstreaming broadens the Fisher Center’s commitment to reaching audiences far beyond its physical walls and offers new ways of engaging with artists.

The virtual stage offers both new content—including digital commissions—as well as beloved performances from the Fisher Center archives. The archive features digital commissions, virtual events, beloved performances, and rich contextual materials, including rediscovered treasures from SummerScape Opera and the Bard Music Festival’s 30-year history.
