As part of the larger Bard College Community, our driving principle is to operate with a duty of care for all our—artists, audiences, students, and staff alike.
In order to share performances with as many audience members as possible, we ask that you read the following information and commit to participating in our community of care.
Protocols may change. Please refer back to this page and to Fisher Center email communications for the most up-to-date guidance and policies. We will continue to assess our COVID protocols and guidelines, as well as consistently monitor new developments, recommendations, and mandates from the CDC and the New York state government.
QUESTIONS/COMMENTS?
While we understand that there are varying levels of audience expectations when it comes to safety protocols, we appreciate your understanding that Bard College and the Fisher Center have carefully reviewed and implemented these policies with the intent to be adaptable and compliant, regardless of any new waves or variants, minimize risk, and allow for the continuation of the festival throughout the summer while keeping our artists, audience, staff, and greater Bard community of students and faculty safe.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the Fisher Center Health Safety team at fchealthsafety@bard.edu.

Health and Safety
What are the health and safety protocols for Fisher Center performances?
Protocols may change. Please check back closer to your performance for updates.
- All Fisher Center staff members are required to be fully vaccinated, boosted, and masked.
- Per Bard College policy and recent CDC guidance, the Fisher Center requires proof of a Covid booster for all guests who are eligible to receive it. Individuals who received Pfizer or Moderna vaccines are eligible to receive a booster dose six months after their last dose. Those who received Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine are eligible to receive a booster dose two months after their original dose. Those not yet eligible will be able to enter, provided they are two weeks past their last vaccination dose.
- All guests ages 5+ must provide proof of full vaccination plus booster. The CDC considers people to be fully vaccinated two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, or two weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
- Please be prepared to present your proof of vaccination and ID when arriving for events at the Fisher Center. Acceptable forms include: CDC vaccination card, photo of your CDC vaccination card, and Excelsior Pass Plus. Members of the Bard community (students, faculty, staff) may show their Bard ID, as their proof of vaccination and booster has been cleared with the College.
- Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all areas and surfaces.

Sosnoff & LUMA Theaters, Olin Hall (Theater)
